After being thrown a curve ball in the CrossFit Open 15.3 workout which starts out with ring muscle ups, we decided to take a few guesses at what Dave Castro might have up his sleeve for the remaining CrossFit Games Open WODs.
Back Flips and Handstand Walks (Bring it back from the 2012 CrossFit Tour!)
For Time: Skydive with no parachute, land on trampoline.
What better way to land something than on a trampoline with a full-on crowd cheering for you?
The CrossFit Total (1 rep max Back Squat, Shoulder Press, Deadlift)
This one might not be as adventurous, but watching Dave Castro deadlift in slow motion is totally worth it (skip to 4:45).
3 Rounds For Time: Climb the tallest freestanding rock climbing wall in the world
"Regularly learn and play new sports! Apply new abilities gained in the gym to real life." -CrossFit
14 Minutes AMRAP: Blindfolded Tight Rope Walk between buildings
If Nik Wallenda can tight rope blindfolded between 2 buildings in the windy city, us everyday CrossFitters can certainly do the same.
On second thought, these all look super dangerous. If any of these pop up in the Open, we might have to consider dropping down to the scaled division. Maybe.
