Sail The Seven Seas With Our Theme WOD For June

If you're like us, you've probably seen The Princess Bride close to three hundred times.  In honor of all great pirate movies, our themed workout for June is The Dread Pirate Roberts WOD.  

Row 1000 meters

You can't be a pirate without a ship and you can't have a ship without doing some rowing.  Get yourself out to the open sea in your concept II rower.

10 Hang Power Cleans (135 lbs men/ 95 lbs women)

Life on the open sea isn't always battles and brothels.  Get to work cleaning the deck.

30 Wall Balls (20 lbs men/ 14 lbs women)

Wall Balls are like big fluffy cannon balls that don't explode.  Load up and engage the enemy - they'll never know what hit them!

3 Rope Climbs

Now that you've worn them down from afar, it's time to board the enemy ship.  Only one way for a pirate to make an entrance - get up that rope!

25 Plank Jacks

Hey, you can't win them all - after getting beaten back, you've got to walk the plank (jacks).

Row 500 Meters

A good pirate always plans ahead.  Board your getaway ship and make a run for it.  

20 Pull Ups

The life of a pirate never ends peacefully.  Swing from the gallows with twenty pull ups.
