Drink The Protein, Not The Kool-Aid
At Fitness Cult Chronicles, we love our store bought protein supplements as much as the next fitness nut. Sometimes though, it can be fun to spice those supplements up with the addition of actual food (gasp!). Here is a homemade protein shake recipe for those of you brave enough to wander desolate Stop and Shop aisles in search of bananas, peanut butter and almond milk. Use a tool like My Fitness Pal to gauge the number of calories in your shake if you are super anal about that kind of stuff. Also, if you're allergic to any of these ingredients please find another recipe - we haven't gotten around to the post on common sense yet. 1 scoop Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
2 tbsp Peanut Butter
1/2 Banana (frozen)
1 cup Almond Milk
9-10 Ice Cubes
