Laurel from CrossFit Bison in Midland Park NJ
Why we chose Laurel:
Whether it's on the soccer field or in the weight room Laurel always gives it her all. She can pull a 335 lb deadlift and is very quietly becoming one of the best athletes in the Northeast. You've got to love a woman who puts her head down and gets after it even when no one else is looking. Read more about Laurel here.

Rob Moloney from Bay Ridge CrossFit in Brooklyn NY
Why we chose Rob:
A little bit CrossFit, a little bit Hollywood. Rob is an exciting athlete who knows how to entertain and can bring a crowd to it's feet. He made it to Regionals in 2014, and one of these days he's going to make it to the games. Think the Islanders are the only athletes to watch in Brooklyn? Think again. Read more about Rob here.

Anthony "DiFran" DiFrancesco from Brazen Athletics - CrossFit Willow in Hoboken NJ
Why we chose Anthony:
When you think of Hoboken NJ, you probably think of Sinatra, yuppie bars and fake St. Patrick's day. Well, you can add hardcore weightlifting to that list when Anthony is in town. He's got a 370 lb Clean & Jerk and a 315 lb Snatch. Who does this guy think he is? A Jersey Matt Fraser? You can learn more about Hoboken's second favorite son here.

Streaky Yates from CrossFit Buford in Buford, GA
Why we chose Streaky:

Nicky Corbett from CrossFit Chester in Wales, UK
Why we chose Nicky:
Who said CrossFit is just a U.S. phenomenon? Nicky shows that there are strong women picking up heavy things and putting them down all over the U.K.! Proud to have her as our first international athlete of the week!

Hope Stockel from CrossFit Orange Groove in Buford, GA
Why we chose Hope:
Most CrossFitters have their eyes set on Regionals. Hope has her sights set a bit higher - she's shooting to make the Olympics. While she's still got a way to go, with her awesome work ethic we wouldn't be surprised to see Hope on the national stage. Read more about her here.

Casey Rohrbaugh from CrossFit Hanover in Hanover, PA
Why we chose Casey:
This woman is a former elite college gymnast who transitioned to CrossFit when her college gymnastics career ended. Having the courage to reinvent herself is what made Casey our athlete of the week. That and the backflips. Well, mostly the backflips. Read more about her here.
